Research Interests: My main interests lie in the biological underpinnings of human cognition and behaviour, in particular towards decision-making and reward processing. In previous MSc research I investigated the effect of amphetamines on post-synaptic dopamine transporter presence in the rodent striatum. Besides its link to addiction research, this work had relevance for the clinical diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. My current neuroimaging study at the University of Glasgow aims to elucidate how brands persuade people for a certain choice in value-based decision-making.
